Big Bear's Night Golf Tournament
This is a new page on the website where I'll be posting the dates and results of Big Bear's Night Golf Tournaments - Night Golf in this case is played on a lighted course with regular balls rather than in the dark with lighted balls. Big Bear's tournament is the continuation of a tradition started in 2000 in Shanghai at Yin Tao golf course. For 2006 we'll be holding the tournament on the last Wednesday of each month April - October
1st Event of the 2006 Season - 26 April
The tournament is 9 holes, formats change from month to month. Prizes / Trophies will be awarded for the lowest gross, lowest net, Highest Gross, long drive and closest to the pin.
Goofy monthly rotating trophies will be awarded for low gross, low net, high gross and a special sandbagger trophy.
Big Bear's Beer
Beer - Big Bear's Night Golf Tradition includes BEER - we supply good quality beer - formerly Coopers Ale and Stout - Since Glenmore closed down I'll need to find something at least as potent and refreshing, but rest assured that the beer will be good and cold. We also like to ensure that players never have an empty and will have our comely and friendly staff send fresh bottles to each group throughout play.
